The Court of Cassation, headed by Counselor Abdullah Al-Jassim, overturned the verdict of the Court of Appeal, and sentenced the killer of citizen Farah Akbar, a soldier in the Ministry of Defense, to death by hanging.
The lower court had earlier sentenced the killer to life in prison, reports a local Arabic daily.
