After the media circulated today news about the kidnapping of the Kuwaiti girl (identified only as A.S.), who was with her family in the Turkish city of Trabzon, diplomatic sources confirmed that the girl is with her family and is not kidnapped or missing.
The sources indicated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Istanbul, acted immediately after receiving the information about a missing or kidnapping of the girl, and contacted her family, and the family confirmed the girl was with them.
The sources noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented by embassies abroad, immediately interacts with any information concerning citizens upon directives from Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser.
