Front line workers of the Ministry of Health (MoH) are expected to be rewarded soon for their work during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Al-Rai has learned from sources that the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) has recently transferred 175 million dinars to the account of the Ministry of Finance at the Central Bank of Kuwait which will soon be deposited into the accounts of the MoH employees – front row bonuses.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Finance is said to have not sent any new lists to the KIA regarding the payment of the bonuses to the rest ‘front line’ workers, but confirmed the Ministry follows up the issue and these employees are expected to be paid in the ‘coming period’, especially eligible workers from the Ministry of Interior, and then the others parties according to priority
