Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said Thursday that a small fire broke out in one of the units inside the northern Al-Zour power and water desalination station, without causing any injuries. In a statement, KFSD said fire teams from Al-Zour, Nuwaseeb, and Mubarak Al-Kabeer fire brigades rushed to the scene and were able to put out the fire immediately. The statement noted that only material damage resulted from the incident.
