Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) launched a two-month campaign on Sunday to aid Syrian refugees in Lebanon, distributed by Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS).

The campaign is part of KRCS’s continuous efforts to ease the suffering of Syrian refugees in Syria’s neighboring countries since the beginning of the crisis in 2011, head of KRCS’s delegation to Lebanon Dr. Musaad Al-Anezi told KUNA in a statement.

He added that they distributed food to 500 families in Akkar district north Lebanon today. Al-Anezi noted that KRCS also continues to aid Syrians to face the economic impact and difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
