Kuwait Football Association (KFA), on Tuesday, decided to resume the current football season (2020/2019) on August 15, after addressing the tripartite committee consisting of the Ministry of Health, the General Authority for Sports and the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee.
In a press statement after the meeting of the Board of Directors headed by Sheikh Ahmad Al- Youssef Al-Sabah, the attendees unanimously adopted the League next season to be played with one division.
The statement noted that His Highness the Amir Cup and His Highness the Crown Prince Cup will be played with the knockout system.
