The Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Airways Workers Union, Captain Abdullah Al-Ali, said that a delegation from the union met with the member of the Board of Directors and the Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority, Ghanim Al-Ghuneiman, and reviewed with him several labor issues, including increasing the salaries of workers in the company.
Al-Ali told a local Arabic daily, that there is government understanding regarding low salaries after it took its time to study through a specialized consulting company, and it is expected that the matter will be resolved with increases ranging between 200 and 400 dinars for employees during the first quarter of 2023, especially since the government policy is supportive of national labor and give priority to their rights and gains.
