After 72 hours of suspension of electronic services in the Ministry of Justice, this morning, the system returned to work and transactions were carried out as usual.

An official source at the Ministry of Justice told Al-Rai that the technical glitch experienced by part of the electronic system in some departments affiliated with the ministry came as a result of updating the system and installing additional protective programs.

The updating was necessitated by the huge number of transactions carried out by some departments and had called on the ministry to develop the system to make it faster.

The source denied what is being circulated about the existence of hacking, loss or manipulation of data, stressing that the ministry has protection for its systems and preserves the data of citizens and residents, which makes it safe from any penetration or loss of information saved in backup copies that are updated daily.
