The Ministry of Health had submitted contracts to the Tender Committee regarding the purchase of Moderna and Johnson vaccines, pointing out they will be imported to the country soon after they receive approval and all procedures are completed, Al Qabas daily reported. The sources told Al-Qabas daily that one of the most important reasons for buying Moderna vaccine is to provide it to the young people who need vaccinations, in addition to international recommendations to take the Johnson vaccine due to its effectiveness against the new Coronavirus.
On the other hand, sources indicated that the transmission of the virus from people who do not show any symptoms to others, and through gatherings and unexplained contact, is the reason for the entry of a large number of people into the Covid 19 wards and intensive care departments in public hospitals during the past month, as well as the occurrence of complications and serious health setbacks in some patients, and registered deaths.
