The Director of the Public Relations Department, the official spokesperson for the Environment Public Authority, Sheikha Al-Ibrahim, confirmed “the reservations for the Jahra Reserve are full on weekends, pointing out that “the reservations can be made on a daily basis throughout the week, in addition to receiving visitors who wish to tour the reserve without prior reservation.

In a statement to a local Arabic daily, Al-Ibrahim stated “there are two types of reservations for those wishing to enjoy nature within the Jahra Reserve. The first is to visit the observatory, and the second to tour the reserve.”

Entry permits for the Jahra Reserve were recently added to the Sahel application, in addition to other services provided by the authority, including a platform for booking leisure fishing for individuals, and a service for paying customs data for companies, while the cost of visiting the Jahra Reserve is 10 dinars for every five people or less.

Recently, the reserve witnessed the cultivation of about 200 plants, with the participation of a number of ambassadors, diplomats and representatives of the United Nations, with the aim of enhancing joint environmental cooperation between international and local institutions.
