The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality, Jahra branch, announced the Cleanliness and Road Works Department organized a cleaning campaign in all areas of the Jahra governorate to remove everything that obstructs the road and distorts the public view.
Al-Rai quoting the Municipality sources said the campaign was organized within the framework to improve the level of cleanliness.
Director of the Public Hygiene and Road Works Department, Fahad Al-Qarifa, said the of the campaign is to raise the level of hygiene saying the supervisors periodically follow up the cleaning work in all areas and removes everyting that obstructs the road and distorts the view.
He explained during the campaign seven citations were issued against street vendors and 11 vehicles were towed to the Municipality garage
