Partaking in the 2022 National Assembly elections for the 17th legislative term will translate the leadership calls for correcting the political process in the
country, said the governor of Jahra Nasser Al-Hajraf on Thursday.

Speaking to KUNA, Al-Hajraf affirmed that the thriving democratic process in Kuwait was overwhelmingly positive and was heading in the right direction.

He called on all eligible voters to cast their ballot and carry out their national duty for a better and more developed country.

Voting began in the country’s five constituencies at 8:00 a.m. local-time and will continue until 8:00 p.m.
