Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, has issued a decision for the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health District residents to receive healthcare services at the Jaber.

This confirms what was published by a local Arabic daily on April 5 in its issue under the title ‘Transferring the affiliation of some health districts to Jaber Hospital’ of areas including South Surra, West Mishref, Bayan, Al-Masayel, Abu Fatira, Al-Maseela, Al-Funaitees, and Abu Al-Hassaniya.

The daily said the Ministry of Health had discussed a number of proposals to develop work in the health sector, including transferring the subordination of some suburbs from Al-Adan Hospital and Mubarak Hospital to Jaber Hospital, in addition to benefiting from the spatial capacity of Jaber Hospital to open surgical specialties such as orthopedics, ophthalmology, organ transplantation, neurosurgery, and the opening of general wards, with the aim of relieving pressure on neighboring hospitals.

The second article of the decision stated that the outpatient clinic of the Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital will receive patients from the primary healthcare centers of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health District – the West Mishref, Bayan, Mubarak Western Health Center and Mubarak Al Sharqia Health Center.
