Starting today, the Ministry of Health has added a new electronic service through the unified government electronic application Sahel through which the citizens can now receive the electronic health fitness certificate issued by the General Medical Council for those newly appointed employees.

A statement said, Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed has issued directives to complete the digital transformation and especially issuing the health certificates and other related documents so that the visitors don’t have to go to the General Medical Council, This electronic certificate bears the name of the person and his civil number, in addition to an encrypted QR code, which can be read by the concerned authorities through the application.

The addition of the new service comes after a set of services that the Ministry initiated to activate through the Sahel application during the last period, including renewing the health practice licenses, translating the licenses, changing the job title for health employees, a certificate of good conduct and activating the link of dispensing of medicines.

In this regard, the Ministry appreciates the tireless efforts of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Digital Health Affairs, Eng. Ahmed Al-Gharib, and the President of the General Medical Council, Dr. Nadia Al-Jumah, and their keenness to speed up the completion of this service, and to link it with the “Sahel” application for the benefit of the citizens, and to save effort and time.
