The Insurance Regulatory Unit has referred insurance company officials to the Public Prosecution following suspicions of tampering with financial statements.
The sources pointed out that the company violated Articles No. (75) and No. (78) and other laws of the law regarding insurance regulation, related to the possibility of fraud and irregularities in the company’s financial statements; violations related to the companies’ law were also monitored, all of which require referral to the Prosecution, reports a local Arabic daily.
