Iranian Ambassador H.E. Mohammad Irani praised the customs and traditions of Kuwait during the blessed month of Ramadan, pointing out that although four and a half years have passed since he assumed his duties in Kuwait, he never felt a stranger in this country.

The Iranian ambassador was speaking on the sidelines of a Ramadan Ghabga he held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the occasion of International Quds Day 2023, which is marked each year on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan. In his address at the event, which was attended by a large number of heads of diplomatic missions, the ambassador expressed his wishes of success and prosperity for the Kuwaiti leadership, government and people.

Regarding the Iranian-Saudi rapprochement, he said that Iran, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the countries in the region are facing great challenges that “we must face together. He added that Iran and all Islamic countries fully agreed on supporting the Palestinian cause, the sanctities of the land and the rights of the Palestinian people.
