Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed with his British counterpart Dominic Raab, Monday, bilateral cooperation within the framework of the joint comprehensive action plan regarding the nuclear deal.

The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation within the framework of the nuclear agreement, said the official Iranian News Agency (IRNA).

In 2015, Iran and the (P5 + 1) group, which includes the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, in addition to Germany, reached a comprehensive agreement on the nuclear program.

The agreement provides lifting the sanctions imposed by the European Union, the United States and the United Nations on Iran in exchange for its agreement to impose long-term restrictions on its nuclear program, but US President Donald Trump withdrew from the agreement in May 2018 and re-imposed a series of financial, banking and oil sanctions against Tehran.
