First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Sunday chaired a security meeting which was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Anwar Al-Barjas and assistant undersecretaries.

During the meeting, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled received reports from the Undersecretary and the assistant undersecretaries regarding the current security and traffic plans in effect, reports Al-Rai daily.

He also received updates on the outcomes of the intensive security and traffic operations carried out by various sectors within the Ministry against those violating the law.

He emphasized the critical importance of enhancing continuous security and traffic presence across the entire country to promptly address any unfavorable situations.

Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled stressed on the necessity of collaborative endeavors and effective coordination among different sectors and departments and urged for greater dedication in security monitoring efforts, swift resolution of issues and prompt handling of anyone attempting to jeopardize the nation’s security.

During the session, he also shared a number of observations and directives aimed at activating measures to tackle any violations of the law.
