The Department of Audit and Follow-up of Municipal Services carried out an inspection campaign of the shops in Farwaniya, which resulted in the closure of a shop and the issuance of seven violations.
The Acting Deputy Director General of the Control and Inspection Sector and Director of the Audit and Follow-up of Municipal Services in Farwaniya Governorate, Nasser Al-Rashidi, explained that the violations involve placing an advertisement without a license, non-compliance with the license requirements, not placing the license in a prominent place and not employing workers with health certificate, in addition to issuing six other warnings.
Al Rai reported that Al-Rashidi called on shop owners to abide by the requirements and regulations enforced by the municipality in order to avoid violations and fines that sometimes reach administrative closure.
