Investigations into the suicide of an Indian security guard inside a bathroom at the American embassy revealed that he shot himself with a weapon he had in his possession, Al-Rai daily reported.
The body of the deceased was transferred to the forensic medicine department.
According to reports, the Ministry of Interior received a report from the US embassy about finding the body of an Indian security guard inside a bathroom. He was transferred to the forensic medicine department, and a suicide case was registered, the case was then referred to the General Department of Criminal Investigation.
The security source stated that the weapon used by the 44-year-old guard in the suicide operation was entrusted to him by the embassy due to the nature of his work.
