An Indian domestic worker, who is believed to be in her 30s, has survived after being shot twice by her Kuwaiti sponsor.
The man is believed to be mentally ill, fired two shots at the maid leaving her in a pool of blood, Al Seyassah Newspaper reported on Sunday. Although it has not been reported if the suspect has been arrested but an attempted murder case has been filed against the suspect.
According to the daily, the domestic worker has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of Adan Hospital and is now in stable condition.
