The Indian embassy has requested the members of the Indian Community in Kuwait to be mindful of the recent decision by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation making it mandatory for all passengers travelling to Kuwait from India, and other nine coronavirus-affected countries to produce medical certificates as of 8 March, 2020.

These health certificates have to be obtained from medical centres approved by the resident Kuwait embassies in these countries, and prove the person has a coronavirus-free status.

The Indian Embassy in Kuwait is aware of concerns arising from members of the Indian Community and other nationalities regarding approved medical centres, underlying procedures and other relevant information. In this regard, the Indian embassy is working to address the genuine concerns of those travelling from India to Kuwait,  and checking regularly with the concerned authorities in Kuwait.

Members of the Indian community are advised to keep track of the Embassy’s website
(www.indembkwt.gov.in) and social media accounts.
