Indian Embassy held a condolence meeting on the sad demise of the former President of Republic of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee at its premises on September 3. Members of the Indian Community paid their respects on the solemn occasion.
Indian Ambassador H E Sibi George addressed the community and paid rich tributes to the former president for his immense contribution to the country. A video presentation depicting some memories of the former president was also shown to the audience
Pranab Mukherjee, the elder statesman of Indian politics, passed away at the age of 84. The former President of India, who had tested positive for coronavirus, had been in coma after a brain surgery earlier this month.
