Ambassador of India H.E. Sibi George visited and conducted a tour of City Center Manara Mall branch on 4 August, at the invitation of City Center Hypermarket Group. The ambassador was received upon arrival by Chief Operating Officer Ajay Goel, the Director, Strategy & Business Development, Nasser Al-Ghanim, and other top management officials of City Center Kuwait.

Following a welcome ceremony and a traditional cake-cutting event, the diplomatic dignitary was taken on a tour of the Al-Manara Mall outlet by Mr. Goel and other officials of the hypermarket. While touring the hypermarket aisles, the Indian ambassador was keenly interested in knowing more about the various Indian fresh foods, grocery items and other goods that were on the hypermarket’s shelves. He was also duly impressed on learning of the extensive range of Indian fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as the variety of Indian food products regularly imported by City Center, including popular items such as Basmati rice, cereals, spices, pickles, sweets and ready-to-cook meals.
