The Public Prosecution said the man accused of killing the Filipino worker in Omariya, died in the hospital where he was being treated.
The prosecution said that it received a report stating that an Asian resident stabbed another Asian domestic worker several times until she died. Then he stabbed himself, at the residence of her sponsor, in Al-Omariya area.
The Prosecution added that the investigation procedures were carried out at the scene of the incident to examine the victim’s body before handing over the remains to the Forensic Medicine Department. They also moved to the hospital where the accused was being treated for questioning, but he died before regaining consciousness.
