The Italian Ambassador to Kuwait, Carlo Balducci, announced the number of Kuwaitis visiting his country is increasing, and added about 25,000 tourist visas were issued last year.

He added, “The Kuwait Airways is currently operating 6 flights per week, including 3 flights to Rome and 3 flights to Milan, and this is excellent for the people of the two countries.”

The Italian envoy praised the new uniforms, which Kuwait Airways introduced for its employees, signed by the Italian fashion designer Ettore Bilotta, stressing that it is the first time for an Italian designer to get involved in the uniform.

Balducci pointed out that Bilotta’s designs, which were recently revealed during a celebration of Kuwait Airways, began work on their production, and Kuwait Airways crews will wear them very soon this year, noting that “Bilotta dealt in the past with major international airlines, Including Emirates Airlines, Italy, Turkish Airlines, and finally Kuwait Airways.
