The Diplomatic Women’s Committee in cooperation with the Embassy of Honduras recently hosted a cultural evening on traditional Latin cooking at the residence of the Honduras ambassador.

The guests of honors were Sheikha Hala Badr Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Sheikha Anoud Al-Ibrahim Al-Duaij Al-Sabah, at the event which also saw participation from female Ambassadors and spouses of Ambassadors from the embassies in Kuwait including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Algeria, Kyrgyzstan, Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Sudan.

Sheikha Hala Al-Sabah was honored by the Committee for her work, and support for the Committee and its activities with a memento on this occasion.

Narjis Al-Shatti, the committee’s adviser, thanked the participants, and handed over prizes to the participants who proved their mastery in Latin dishes.  She stressed that the committee will continue its cultural activities in order to raise awareness among the diplomatic society of the various cultures in Kuwait. She revealed that the next ceremony will be hosted by Sheikha Hala Al-Sabah and will be held at the Shuwaikh Palace.
