His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received on Sunday a cable of condolences from the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF)’s Executive Director Henrietta Fore, in which she expressed her deepest sorrow and condolences over the death of late His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the former Amir of Kuwait.
She affirmed the great contributions of late Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in serving various development and humanitarian issues, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow upon the people of Kuwait with patience and fortitude. His Highness the Amir replied with a cable, expressing His Highness thanks and appreciation for her sincere feelings and condolences, and His Highness also wished her everlasting health and wellness.
