His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad AlJaber AlSabah said on Tuesday that he appreciated his compatriot physicians’ “limitless” dedication to the welfare of humanity.
As he met with the president of Kuwait Medical Association (KMA) Dr. Ahmad AlEnezi, alongside Kuwait’s Health Minister Dr. Basel AlSabah, His Highness the Amir commended Kuwaiti doctors for their altruistic tendencies.
Amid the encounter, the Kuwaiti health minister suggested designating “Kuwaiti Doctor Day” as an occasion to appreciate their unwavering commitment towards humanitarian causes.
Introducing an excellence award christened after His Highness the Kuwaiti Amir was also among initiatives considered as part of efforts to support Kuwaiti doctors, AlEnezi said.
KMA Board of Trustees members Ali AlMousawi and Ahmad AlRashidi were equally grateful as well, hailing the many accomplishments of Kuwaiti physicians in recent years.
