Under the kind auspices and in presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the final game of His Highness the Amir Football Cup was held between Kuwait SC and Al-Qadsia at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Upon their arrival, His Highness the Amir and his entourage were warmly welcomed by Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Mohammad Nasser AlJabri, Director General of the Public Authority for Youth and Sport (PAYS) Dr. Homoud Fleitah AlShimmery and Chairman of Kuwait Football Association (KFA) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Youssef AlSabah as well as board chairmen of both clubs.
The event also gathered Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, and Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, as well as other senior state officials.
Following the match, His Highness the Amir presented the trophy to captain of the winning Kuwait SC team Hussein Hakim.
