His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace this morning the FIFA World Cup promotional tour delegation.
The FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held in Qatar 2022 and HH Sheikh Mushaal expresses his pride in the unprecedented capabilities shown by the State of Qatar in organizing the soccer extravaganza.
His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber to the Coca-Cola Company delegation, the official sponsor of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and representatives of the Federation.
He praised the tireless efforts of the sisterly State of Qatar to organize this world championship and wished the sisterly State of Qatar success in organizing the championship.
His Highness also stressed the role of the State of Kuwait in promoting this sport, which positively contributes to protecting young people.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Muhammad Al-Abdullah, Amiri Diwan Undersecretary, Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir Ambassador Ahmed Fahad Al-Fahad, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince, retired Lieutenant-General Jamal Muhammad Al-Dhiyab, and Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince Mazen Al-Issa.
