Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah the celebration of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) was held on the occasion of the full operation of the environmental fuel project at the Mina Abdullah Refinery.
His Highness, the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, said in a speech during the ceremony, “We are demonstrating to the world our commitments that we are responsible for meeting national needs and international demand for clean fuels, in line with global trends in reducing pollutants, and are committed to producing low-emissions fuels that are more committed to international quality and safety standards,” reports a local Arabic daily.
He added: “Today we translate to our people and the countries of the world our ambitious aspiration to achieve a clear-cut development strategy that enhances Kuwait’s position and put it in the ranks of the advanced countries in the oil refining industry and for them to be partners in achieving profitable returns that achieve prosperity and development for Kuwait and the world at large in all aspects of life and its economies.”
