The epidemiological situation in the country is stable and the health authorities are considering reducing the number of days of institutional quarantine to less than 7 days, provided that the remaining quarantine period is completed at home, Al Qabas reported.

Government sources revealed that the trend to reduce the institutional quarantine days is in the final stage, with the vaccination approaching 100%, which is expected to take place at the end of this month, provided that all those who abstain from vaccination register on the vaccine platform.

The sources told the daily that the number of institutional quarantine days will be reduced but other health measures will continue to prevail, most notably the requirement that those coming into the country bring an approved negative  PCR examination certificate.
