As a part of its continuous efforts to encourage and initiate the culture of the health care, Hala Super Specialty Medical Center (HMC) celebrates International Women’s Day with a ‘Ladies First’ event that offered special health check up day for the women in Kuwait at the HMC branch in Hawally on 8 March, which is celebrated as International Women’s Day.
Speaking on the occasion, Hala Group Executive Director Nissar Rasheed said that the event comes within the framework of community outreach carried out by HMC among all segments of society, specifically the women’s benefiting from the company’s services in order to improve the healthcare indicators in Kuwait and support the efforts of the Ministry of Health in all fields, adding that similar activities will be organized for all other segments in Kuwait, in continuation of the health care efforts by Hala Group.
The event offers special prices on various services provided by HMC including KD1 for in-house biochemistry lab tests and KD3 for basic hormone tests; it needs to be added that specific special hormone tests are not a part of this offer. The event also offers free doctor consultation for all lady patients walking into HMC starting from morning 7am till 11pmon 8 March.
Throughout the month of March, HMC will also offer special packages for gynecology check up with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) screening for KD20, with renowned infertility specialist Dr. Saritha Hari. The screening includes TVS (Transvaginal ultrasound), Pap smear test, Breast Examination and Endocrine PCOS Hormone screening forKD35. The screening test includes Luteinizing hormone (LH), Follicle- Stimulating hormone (FSH), Total and Free Testosterone, Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), Prolactin, Androstenedione, Progesterone, Total cholesterol.
