His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah, sent a cable of condolences Thursday to the family of the late Saleh Mohammad AlOjairi. In the cable, His Highness the Amir expressed sincere condolences to the deceased’s family, praying to Almighty Allah to bestow mercy upon his soul.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables. Saleh Al-Ojairi was born on June 23 of the year 1920. He had contributed many books for the Arab world about Astronomy and was behind the formation of Al-Ojairi calendar, which
the State of Kuwait has officially adopted for all its official transactions.
