H H the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad expressed his hope that the National Assembly session scheduled to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, will witness fruitful cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, far from any tensions and enable the government to take the oath in accordance with the requirements of the constitution, and to give H H Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, Prime Minister and the government the sufficient time to practice its role and responsibilities, especially in light of the conditions that the country and the entire region are going through.

His Highness stressed the urgent need for constructive cooperation between the two authorities and placing the supreme interest of the country above any consideration, calling for respect for the judiciary, especially the provisions of the Constitutional Court, and commitment to the provisions of the constitution, especially Article 50 of it related to the separation of powers.

His Highness affirmed adherence to the democratic process and preservation of it, expressing his confidence in his sons, representatives and their eagerness to surpass this stage with wisdom and awareness so that all efforts and energies could be directed to achieve all the growth, progress and prosperity of the country and the citizens, asking the Almighty to perpetuate the blessing of security, safety and stability for the dear nation.
