Indian Ambassador H E Sibi George, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Japan. Ambassador George is expected to take up his assignment shortly. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs declared in a press release recently.
H E Sibi George arrived in Kuwait in August 2020 from Switzerland and served a very successful tenure in Kuwait. He was able to unite the community in their fight against covid and also further improve the excellent Kuwait-India relations.
Ambassador George was extremely popular amongst the large Indian diaspora for the many initiatives he took in addressing their issues of concern. He was also active in both local and diplomatic circles and for engaging with the Kuwaiti leadership in further cementing the age old friendship.
