KPC will soon take a decision to transfer the subordination of the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company to the Kuwait Oil Company, provided that it will continue as a subsidiary company and will continue to bear the same name in order to preserve its history and legal obligations in the management of joint operations in Al-Khafji and Al-Wafra.
Al-Anba learned from senior oil sources that the accession of ‘Gulf Oil’ will come after the completion of the procedures for transferring the ownership of the company’s shares from the KPC to the Kuwait Oil Company, to facilitate the transfer of the commercial license and the legal arrangements.
