It is a great honor and pleasure for me to extend my best wishes to His Highness the Amir and the people of Kuwait on the two annual great celebrations in Kuwait’s history.
Invasion of Kuwait has been an immoral act of aggression and a terrible mistake led by a very wrong geopolitical assessment of the international circumstances. Greece immediately rejected the results of the invasion and stood in solidarity with His Highness the Amir and the Kuwaiti people.
My country participated in the international coalition which led to the liberation of Kuwait, and so was created one more solid bond between the two friendly countries and societies.
