Representative Dr. Janan Bushehri affirmed that “the government’s vision to address the issue of drug shortages is vague and unclear,” stressing that denial of the existence of the problem forms the basis of the defect.
Bushehri said in a press statement that she attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Health Committee to discuss the letter she submitted regarding the lack of medicines in the presence of the Minister of Health and his team, adding that she is “waiting for the committee to submit its report to discuss it in the next session in more detail,” reports Al-Rai daily.
