The search engine giant Google introduced a creative doodle on January 26 (Thursday) to celebrate the Republic Day of India.

Illustrated by guest-artist Parth Kothekar, the doodle features the India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan, the residence of India’s President. The doodle shows the Presidential Palace surrounded by the parade of the Presidential Horse Guard and the CRPF personnel performing the daredevil bike stunts.

The simple artwork, which appeared to be made with a black felt tip pen, also features the National Bird peacock and lotus motifs, and a human finger heart – a Korean sign used to symbolise love – in the centre.
