On 25 February 2021, Kuwait marks its 60th anniversary of National Day. Let me send to the leaders of Kuwait and to the Kuwaiti society congratulations from the German Embassy for 60 years of Freedom and Independence.
Let me also send you congratulations for the 26th of February. This marks Kuwait’s liberation day, a day of great importance to the State of Kuwait and so to the friendly country of Germany, too. We have been at your side 30 years ago and will continue to do so. Kuwait has achieved great prosperity over the years and it has been at the center of humanitarian initiatives world-wide. Kuwait indeed has every reason to feel proud. Today Kuwaitis mark their freedom and their liberation. It gives me great pleasure to share Kuwait’s joy and happiness.
Have a safe National and Liberation Day and please wear your masks and maintain social distancing.
