The French novelist, Françoise Bourdain, died yesterday, at the age of 70. She is one of the most successful writers in France, with her book sales exceeding 15 million, according to the “Edites” publisher of Bourdain works.

A local Arabic daily quoting Agence France-Presse said Françoise Bourant has written nearly fifty books that have achieved great success, some of which have been adapted for television.

Françoise Bourdain was born in Paris in 1952 in an artistic family. Over the past decades, Francoise Bourdain showed great productivity, by devoting to writing every morning, publishing one or two novels annually.
