The French Ambassador, Anne-Claire Legendre, will leave Kuwait in September, after spending a year in Kuwait as the ambassador of France, Al Anbaa daily reported.
During her tenure, she played an important role in the development of bilateral relations between Kuwait and France.
The sources revealed to the daily that Ambassador Legendre will be promoted soon, as she is a potential candidate for several positions, most notably taking the position of official spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry. The new French ambassador to Kuwait would be named and announced soon.
The next strategic dialogue will be at the end of September and the beginning of October at the ministerial level, in which Kuwait will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Majdi Al-Dhafiri and Franck Riester from the French side.
