On the happy occasion of the National and liberation days of Kuwait, and on behalf of the republic of France, I would like to extend my congratulations and warmest wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Government and the people of Kuwait. This year is the 31st anniversary of Kuwait’s liberation from the Gulf war in which France was proud to be an active member of the coalition forces who helped liberate Kuwait.
France values the excellent bilateral and friendly relationship with Kuwait in all levels and fields, based on shared values and mutual respect.
France values the leadership of Kuwait in promoting peace and unity in the region. I am confident that with joint efforts and cooperation, the bilateral relations between France and Kuwait can only be strengthened and deepened for the benefit of our two nations.
I wish to the state of Kuwait success and prosperity and to our Kuwaiti friends a happy celebration.
