On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Poland, It is my privilege and pleasure to congratulate the people and the leadership of the State of Kuwait as they celebrate the 58th national Day and the 28th Liberation day.
No one can deny the role of the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jabir Al-Sabah, as the pillar of Kuwaiti diplomacy in the region and the main reason for its steadfast friendly relations with the governments and nations of both the region as well as the world. So I would love to take this opportunity to present my sincere greetings to H.H. the Amir on his 13th Anniversary of his assumption of power, and wishing him health and success in performing his mission for the prosperity of the State and its People.
The relationship between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Poland go back to the days of Independence of Kuwait. Poland was one of the first countries to recognize Kuwait as an independent State.
The cooperation between both countries can best be seen in recent years through their combined efforts to fight for peace and stability in the region as well as all over the world, being non- permanent members in the United Nations Security Council for the term 2018 –2019. In this spirit of cooperation, I wish His Highness the Amir personally the Kuwaiti Government and the glorious people of the State of Kuwait on this graceful occasion, my best wishes for good health, happiness and prosperity.
