Former US President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to the 37 counts in an indictment by the Department of Justice claiming that he violated the Espionage Act and obstructed justice by keeping classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago home.
Tuesday’s arraignment in a Miami courthouse was Trump’s second this year but his first on federal charges. He is the first former president or candidate for president to face such charges.
