The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has filed 16 complaints with its Egyptian counterpart, against Egyptian citizens who have insulted Kuwait on social media and satellite channels. In response to a parliamentary question, Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nasser said that the Kuwaiti embassy in Cairo had filed the aforementioned complaints since the beginning of January 2020, reports Al Qabas daily.
This was after the Foreign Ministry addressed its Egyptian counterpart to take the necessary measures against all the offenses spewed against to the State of Kuwait through social media and satellite channels, with the assurance that the ministry continues to follow up on these issues in defense of Kuwait and to preserve its reputation and that of its citizens.
