The government performance and follow-up agency, during its last meeting with concerned officials, decided to merge the three initiatives for people with disabilities included in the government’s work program into one initiative and under one name.
The agency explained that these three initiatives are the integration of people with disabilities in society and the labor market, and enabling them to engage in small and medium-sized projects, noting that these initiatives were collected under one title, ‘Integration of People with Disabilities’, adding that “a cooperation contract was also signed with the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, which would serve the disabled and their families, as its details and desired goal will be announced in the coming period,” reports a local Arabic daily.
