Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Salem Al-Abdullah acknowledged the credentials of Peruvian Ambassador to Kuwait, Carlos Manuel Alfredo Velasco Mendiola, and Sri Lankan Ambassador, Kandban Balasubramaniam, at the Ministry’s general office on Tuesday. The minister wished the new ambassadors success and spoke with them about their countries close bilateral ties with Kuwait, as well as, the recent developments in Peru and Sri Lanka, reported Al Rai.
On the other hand, the Minister also received a written message from the Mauritanian Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk related to the close relations between the two countries, as well as the invitation to participate in the 49th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which will be hosted by the Mauritania capital, Nouakchott, from 16-17 March 2023. This came during the Minister’s reception of the Mauritanian Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Mohamed El-Amine Ould Cheikh, at the Ministry’s general office.
